Do I need to be an APsystems customer?
Yes — Solar Sentry reads your data through APsystems' OpenAPI. If your microinverters are APsystems (DS3, YC600, QS1, etc.) you're set. We don't support Enphase, SolarEdge, or other brands today.
Will this slow down my system or interfere with EMA?
No. We only read your data through the official OpenAPI — the same API APsystems publishes for developers. Your EMA app keeps working exactly as it does today.
Is my data safe?
Your APsystems credentials are encrypted at rest with a key only the server knows. Your production data lives in our database alongside your account. We don't sell or share any of it.
What happens after the 7 days?
If you do nothing, the trial ends and you simply lose access — no charges, no auto-renewal. Pick a paid plan during the trial if you want to keep going.
Can I monitor more than one solar install?
Yes. Each APsystems account (App Id) can cover multiple installs, and you can connect multiple APsystems accounts. There's an API quota of 1000 calls/month per APsystems account — plenty for one or two installs.
